Native Olive oil extra 500ml

This “racy” olive oil is produced by Giancarlo Vanni from San Michele a Torri in Tuscany.

 

It tastes great with balsamic vinegar, raspberry vinegar, arugula, and other salads, cheese, pasta (spaghetti aglio e olio), and rice dishes (risotto). It’s excellent for baking bread or incorporating it into pasta dough. It’s also perfect for preparing pestos, sauces, baked vegetables, or small appetizers like bruschetta.

 

The list is endless, as all southern dishes are prepared with olive oil, which is why no kitchen should be without it.

Olive oil is one of the most well-known oils worldwide, as its uses extend far beyond the kitchen.

 

This olive oil is one of the typical Tuscan olive oils, with a deep green color, a natural pungency, and a grassy aroma.

 

Giancarlo Vanni presses approximately 800 liters of oil per year from the olives harvested in his olive groves in Tuscany, most of which is purchased exclusively by the Hartlieb oil mill.

 

When Giancarlo’s supplies are insufficient, the olive oil from Olea Histriae from Buje, Istria is bottled. Olea Histriae is also a very good small producer, whose oil is similar to Giancarlo’s. It’s slightly less pungency, but a bit fruitier.

Shelf life: At least 12 months. Store away from heat and light. Keep tightly closed after opening and use within 3 months.
